Jayne trained at Elmhurst and the Royal Ballet School TTC, after which she performed professionally in musical theatre and cabaret, TV and the Cruise industry, producing and choreographing for Empress Cruise Lines, Singapore.
After 'retiring' from the business, Jayne ran a theatre arts academy for 13 years, before turning freelance and joining the staff of the Royal Ballet School Associates Programme, as well as offering private tuition for students wishing to pursue a vocational career. Many of her former students are now enjoying careers as professional dancers in international ballet companies, the Royal Ballet, the West End and for major cruise lines.
Jayne has been involved in the Festival movement for over half a century now - first as a performer, then a teacher and for over 25yrs as an adjudicator for the British & International Federation of Festivals and All-England Dance.
